Perfect Poached Eggs

I eat eggs constantly. Eggs and bacon. After I come off of a fasting day, the only thing I ever want to eat is eggs and bacon. So let's just say there's plenty where that came from.

Anyhow, I was starting to get tired of eggs the usual ways -- scrambled, fried, boiled, baked.. I needed something new.

Enter poached eggs! I found a new way to poach eggs using the whirlpool method-- you can check out the video here.

Basically, you just fill a pot with water, a little salt, and a little white vinegar (although honestly I've never added vinegar and my eggs turn out just fine), wait until it comes to a boil, and then turn off the burner. At that point, start swirling the water in a circle so that it causes a whirlpool in the middle. Then, crack an egg into the whirlpool and let it sit for about four minutes. At that point, you can spoon it out (gently) and serve immediately.
